We provide music lessons only at our school. Perfect Timing is conveniently located at
30048 Mission Boulevard, Suite 131, in Hayward, California. The nearest BART station to PTMS is the South Hayward station which is a few blocks away. The bus stop for lines #99 and #801 is only half a block away.
Lessons are offered to children ages 3 and up, as well as adults and seniors. We welcome students of all skill levels. We have an intimate, family-like atmosphere conducive to a relaxed
learning environment.
Perfect Timing does not offer group classes because we discovered over years of teaching that students in group classes frequently develop bad habits of playing. This is because, in a group setting, a teacher cannot effectively keep track of how each student is playing and therefore cannot correct mistakes in the technique that may be occurring.
That’s why all our classes are private, one-on-one instruction which ensures that every student receives personalized individual attention. All lessons are 30 minutes, once a week, four times
a month. On months with five weeks, no lessons except makeup classes are held.
We suggest longer lessons for more advanced students.
Time slots are available on a first come, first served basis.
There is a two-month minimum for all lessons. It takes some time to learn to create a good sound from an instrument to truly enjoy it. This is also the minimum amount of time to decide if the instrument is really for you.
